Through your kind donations and our other fundraising efforts, Friends of Oak Park Schools Education Foundation helps to fund programs that would otherwise not be offered by the district. Currently our funding supports our District Science Specialist Program which provides district-wide experiential learning opportunities that would otherwise not exist. Our goal is to support programs that reach “outside the classroom” providing hands on instruction.
In addition, Friends is now co-funding the elementary music program, in partnership with each of the elementary school’s Parent Teacher Organizations. This program ensures that there is now a music educator at each of the three elementary schools.
